Over Frost Controls Inc 50+ year history, we have been involved with the design and development of numerous specialty optical products to meet the needs of specific applications. These developments have run the gammit; from simple reconfiguration of mechanical design, to full blown R&D projects requiring complex hardware and software. The common thread in the Speciality Optical Products is they grenerally require multi-point sensing for such end results as: determining the length of a loop of material being processed for increasing/decreasing take-up/pay-off; determining the height and orientation of boxes being processed for automatic bar code scanning/printing; determining flaws in magnetic coated substrates, while in process i.e. voids greater than 'X' but less than 'Y'; determining defects in fabric as it is being processed, to prevent machine damage i.e.circular knitting machine; etc.
